All tents have attached bath and western Toilets for hygiene and privacy

Camp site is connected via mud trails which is motorable. Parking is available for private vehicles. 

We are equipped with emergency medical aid. Oxygen cylinders and first aid kit is available.

The season is short and we see heavy influx of traffic, Bookings are made many weeks in advance due to limited number of tents during peak season – June/July

    Cycling enthusiasts enjoying the rugged terrain while heading back towards batal from Chandra Tal.

    Exploring the Plateau

    One can explore the ‘Samudri Tapu plateau’ apart from a visit to Chandra Tal.

    There are huge pasture lands and multiple short hike’s and treks that aren’t known to the most.

     

    Ponds of the gods

    There are many crystal clear water bodies hidden in plain sight, in the vast lush green meadows. This is one of the many treks that originate from here.

    Such as Samudri Tapu lake trek, Baralacha la trek, Kunzum la trek etc.

     

    Visit Kunzum Pass

    The gate way to Spiti lies right above Chandra Tal, Kunzum La.
    It also hosts a temple of the deity ‘Kunzum Mata’. Once every year the stone idol is put on display for people.

      The pass is considered a significant spiritual site, with a shrine dedicated to Kunzum Mata, who is seen as a personification of the pass. This shrine serves as an object of faith for travelers, especially those who drive through the challenging terrain of the pass. The area around the pass is also marked by chortens (stupas), Tibetan prayer flags, and Mani stones, which are common in Tibetan Buddhist traditions
