Tarsar Marsar is undoubtedly the most beautiful alpine lake trek in India.

Situated in Kashmir, this captivating twin lake hike maintains its reputation despite the presence of the renowned 'KGL', known for its stunning beauty and the opportunity to view five glacial lakes.

The trail leads you through the meadows of Aru Valley and Lidderwat to the first glacial lake, Tarsar.

Spending an evening here is a blissful experience, with options to relax by the lakeside or take a hike around the lake, offering various views of the vast blue water surrounded by lush greenery.

Not far from Tarsar is Marsar, the enigmatic sister lake, separated by a mountain ridge and equally enchanting. There is folklore around it that deems it as cursed.

There is also a hidden lake, Sundersar, where campers can stay; it is situated higher than both Tarsar and Marsar but is smaller in size.

The journey through these three lakes leaves visitors in awe of nature's beauty.

Kashmir truly is a paradise on Earth.
