Lahesh cave is a natural rock shelter, situated right above the Laqa glacier which has been used by 'gaddis', travellers and pilgrims for shelter on the trail since ancient times.

Situated in the Dhauladars, it lies on the slopes of 'Moon peak' which has one of the best vantages point in the whole range as it gives a birds eye view of Triund hill, Dharamshala and Kangra valley all the way up till 'Pong Dam'.

Sunset from this cave is breathtaking and the views of the lit-up valley below, under the clear starry night makes it the best highlights of this trek.

Another highlight of this trek is the seasonal Laqa glacier which runs down the slope, right besides the cave.

This glacier is the most accessible that too on an easy trail in the whole sub continent.

The best time to experience the white magic on the mountains and the glacier is early in the season, the months of April - May .
