Snow in Dec - March

Brahma Tal is one of the best winter treks in India, which is situated in the laps of the Garhwal Himalayas.

Though viable for trekking around the year, the snow adds to the alluring beauty of the trail.

One can stroll through rhododendron and oak forests, which are beautiful in the summer and have a unique charm in the winter, when the trees are blanketed in snow. Breathtaking views of the big mountains such as Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nandaghunti, Ronti saddle are visible across the valley along with the pristine meadows of Bedini and Ali bugyal stretching through the base of these giants.

This trip should be attempted in both seasons since the views are just as beautiful throughout the non-winter months!

Mythology : The legend surrounding this location claims that it was given its name because Lord Brahma himself once
