Indrahar Pass, where lies the temple of Lord 'Indra', is a challenging steep climb in the Dhauladars. The hike through triund till the base of the mountain slope is enjoyable but the rocky ascent till the pass from this point is quite thrilling. This Shepard's trail also served as a travel route between the valleys of Kangra and Chamba as towards the other side you lead on the Kuarsi, Chamba valley. Stunning views of the valley below and the adjoining peaks like 'Moon peak', 'Camel peak' and the ' Matterhorn of Dhauladars' are the main attraction in the whole range which seems like a long wall of rock serving as a barrier to something. The climb is challenging as from the last campsite, its more than a 1000 meters of vertical climbing through a path chalked out in the rocky slopes of the mountain. Rewards from the top are completely worth the efforts as one can witness the whole of 'Kangra' valley up till 'Pong Dam', Dharamshala, Triund top and Chamba valley with the majestic 'Manimahesh' Peak standing out in the horizon.
