Pin Parvati pass is an elite member of the 100km + trails club connecting the Parvati valley in Kullu to Kaza via the Pin Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The pass lies at a staggering 5319 meters and holds a rating of holds a status of "challenging" crossovers, which was used as a common travel and trade routes in ancient times. It is also revered as one of the most scenic trails as the landscape of parvati and pin valleys are contrastingly different. The parvati valley, full of life, waterfalls and lush green meadows give way to the Holy Mantalai lake and eventually the glacier which leads you across to the cold desert mountains of Spiti valley where the vegetation is limited to the ones that can bare the brunt of the harsh weather. The general time taken to finish this trail is of 10 days, the weather harsh and a few tricky patches which is why it is only recommended for seasoned trekkers who have had exposure to long trails, high altitudes, freezing cold river crossings and abrupt weather
