The exclusive 100km+ trails club includes the Pin Parvati pass.
linking the Parvati valley in Kullu to Kaza via the Pin Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
At a height of 5319 meters, the pass is a "challenging" crossover that served as a popular trade and travel route in antiquity.
Additionally, it is regarded as one of the most picturesque routes due to the stark contrasts between the vistas of the Parvati and Pin valleys. The lively Parvati valley, with its waterfalls and verdant meadows, leads to the sacred Mantalai lake and then the glacier, which carries you over to the frigid desert mountains of Spiti valley, where the flora is restricted to those that can withstand the severe climate.
Given the difficult weather, the few challenging sections, and the 10-day average duration of completion, this trail is only advised for experienced trekkers who have experience with lengthy trails, high altitudes, cold river crossings, and unpredictable weather.
