Rupin Pass is undoubtedly one of the most alluring trails in India.
The breathtaking scenery on this grand expedition will amaze you at every junction.
Just when you think you've seen it all, it will not fail to surprise you still.
The trail takes you to some of the unique hanging villages nestled high up in the mountains.
The trail takes you through a coniferous forest, mountain sides full of rhododendron and ancient patches of forest full of old-growth pine as you move up the valley.
The treeline gives way to vast grasslands as we ascend through the valley and reveals mesmerizing views filled with natural beauty, waterfalls and small streams bursting from multiple ridges.
The ultimate reward awaits at the end of this u-shaped valley, just before the final leg, in the form of a famous cascading twin waterfall.
As it passes between these two waterfalls and briefly stops above the former, the trail becomes both somewhat enduring and highly captivating.
The final approach to the pass takes you through a large plateau that is covered in snow early in the season before transitioning into the well-known, steep "gully" to reach the top of Rupin pass.
The views from the top will definitely make you feel at cloud 9, with your hearts fulfilled.
