Rupin Pass is undoubtedly the most alluring, captivating trails amongst the lot in India
This beautiful trail will leave you speechless at every turn with its enchanting beauty and then turn you into a storyteller.
Just when you think you've seen it all, it will not fail to surprise you still.
The trail takes you to some of the unique hanging villages high up in the mountains.
Early on the trail takes you through a coniferous forest, you will also witness shrubs of rhododendron and the mystical woods filled of old growth pine as you move up the valley.
The treeline gives way to the grasslands as you move up the valley and one can see numerous waterfalls and small streams bursting from multiple ridges and slopes in this beautiful valley full of natures elements.
The grand prize of all is not from the summits but at the end of this u-shaped valley, just before the upwards climb where you will find yourself in front of this majestic double waterfall, completely dumbstruck.
The trail gets a little enduring but so very interesting as it passes from between these two falls and make a halt right on top of the first fall.
The final approach to the pass takes you through a vast plateau which is covered in snow early in the season giving way to the infamous steep 'gully' of Rupin pass.
The views from the top will definitely make you feel at cloud 9, with your hearts fulfilled.
